This watch features Swatch's latest geophysical function and is equipped with a moon phase display adorned with OMEGA Moonshine Gold. It also incorporates illustration designs from the world of Snoopy, making this timepiece both fun and creative.
The earth phase function showcases the view of our planet as seen from the Moon, offering a unique perspective. This feature operates on a cycle of 29.5 days, moving in the opposite direction to the lunar phase indicator, delivering a visual feast for users. During a full moon, the watch displays the hidden side of the Earth, while at new moon, the complete Earth is visible. This extraordinary time presentation design is truly breathtaking.
The illustration beneath the display showcases the flying ace, Snoopy, along with his companion Woodstock, perched on the moon admiring the breathtaking view of Earth. This artwork also conceals a line of poetry that can only be revealed under ultraviolet light, paying homage to the pioneering spirit of the MoonSwatch, highlighting a tribute to those who dare to defy conventions.
At the 2 o'clock position on the small dial, this watch features a moon phase indicator inspired by the upcoming Sturgeon Month. The two radiant full moons are crafted with OMEGA Moonshine™ Gold coating; one is designed in a charming Snoopy style, while the other showcases a mesh pattern, playfully linking to the origin of the Sturgeon Month's name.
MISSION TO EARTH PHASE – MOONSHINE GOLD features a Bioceramic material made from a blend of two-thirds ceramic and one-third biomaterial derived from castor oil, presenting a deep navy blue hue that enhances the watch's cosmic vibe. Additionally, this timepiece carries forward several design elements from the OMEGA classic Speedmaster Moonwatch, including an asymmetric case and a distinctive sub-dial embedded design.
The watch features the OMEGA X Swatch logo printed on both the dial and the crown. On the back of the case, you’ll find its mission statement engraved, while the battery cover is inspired by the beauty of Earth. The addition of a navy blue VELCRO® rubber strap adds a touch of astronaut style, further enhancing the watch’s unique charm.
