As a new addition to the Excalibur Spider collection, this timepiece features the brand’s iconic skeleton design and debuts a flyback chronograph function with a dual-column wheel layout, perfectly embodying the brand’s dedication to high-performance watch technology.
The heart of the new watch features the Calibre RD780 automatic movement, developed in-house by the brand and bearing the prestigious Geneva Seal. Comprising 312 components, this movement boasts a dual-column wheel design and a vertical clutch structure, specifically crafted to enhance timing accuracy and operational smoothness. The flyback chronograph allows wearers to restart the timing function instantly without the need to reset, significantly boosting efficiency. Additionally, the dual-column wheel structure enhances movement stability while ensuring that button operations are responsive and precise.
This model introduces a patented level-winding small seconds mechanism along with an eccentric balance wheel, where the Monovortex system further enhances operational stability. To highlight its complex structure, the brand boldly opts for a highly recognizable design language; the movement’s bridge plate showcases the brand’s iconic star-shaped structure, adorned with a black DLC coating and red details, delivering a visually striking and well-defined aesthetic.
In terms of appearance, the watch features a case diameter of 45mm, crafted from a lightweight yet durable carbon fiber composite. The dual-material bezel, made from a blend of carbon and ceramic, further reduces the overall weight while enhancing durability. The screw-down crown and button design are accented with red highlights that resonate with the movement’s details, amplifying its sporty vibe.
The watch strap features a quick-release system, making it easy for wearers to swap out colors to match their personal style changes.
