To celebrate its 270-year legacy, Vacheron Constantin is launching a global exhibition called “THE QUEST: A 270-Year Journey of Exceptional Pursuit,” inviting watch enthusiasts to deeply explore the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship, and spirit of innovation. The inaugural event is grandly held in Al Qana, Abu Dhabi, showcasing the brand’s exquisite watchmaking techniques and artistic aesthetics since 1755 through immersive experiences. Additionally, drawing inspiration from Abu Dhabi’s cultural characteristics, a one-of-a-kind timepiece will be unveiled.

The exhibition unfolds through six major chapters that showcase the extraordinary journey of the brand, starting from the signing of the first apprenticeship contract by founder Jean-Marc Vacheron in 1755. It highlights the brand’s groundbreaking technological innovations and iconic timepieces, including the Kallista watch, adorned with 130 carats of diamonds in 1979, and the Les Cabinotiers The Berkley Grand Complication, which features 2,877 components and 63 complex functions. Guests can also engage with high-tech interactive devices to magnify and appreciate the intricate mechanical structure of the watches, experiencing how the brand beautifully merges mechanical craftsmanship with artistic aesthetics.

In addition, Vacheron Constantin has specially created The Majlis VIP space, incorporating the traditional Arab hospitality culture. They invite local artists and artisans to participate in exhibitions and collaborate with Tashkeel to curate a series of cultural activities. Guests can savor Emirati coffee and cuisine while gaining a deeper understanding of the essence of high-end watchmaking.

During the exhibition, the brand will host a series of professional seminars and watchmaking workshops, exploring traditional techniques such as hand engraving, enamel painting, and machine engraving. Guests will be invited to create their own personalized star maps to commemorate this journey of exploration. Coinciding with Ramadan, the event will also feature special activities that allow guests to immerse themselves in the culturally rich atmosphere while experiencing the brand’s dazzling 270-year history.

Christophe Ramel, the Managing Director of Vacheron Constantin for the Middle East, stated: “Abu Dhabi, as a significant hub of culture and innovation, is the perfect place for us to embark on this exceptional journey. Through this exhibition, we aim to present the brand’s exquisite craftsmanship, innovative spirit, and love for art to watch enthusiasts.”
