At Watches & Wonders 2025, Patek Philippe unveiled 15 brand-new timepieces, with the Ref. 5308G taking center stage. This model merges four exceptional complications: a perpetual calendar, split-seconds chronograph, instantaneously jumping calendar, and minute repeater. Powered by a newly developed self-winding movement, it marks the first time the brand has incorporated this quartet of intricate features into its standard collection. The prototype of this watch made its debut as a platinum limited edition during the Tokyo exhibition in 2023. This time, it is presented with a white gold case, complemented by a sophisticated black-and-blue-toned dial that balances technical brilliance with aesthetic allure, making it a coveted piece for high-end collectors.

Another standout new creation, Ref. 5328G, comes from the Calatrava collection and features a newly developed movement, achieving instant jumping day display and a pointer-style date function. It boasts an impressive power reserve of up to eight days, complete with a power reserve indicator window, offering a design that is both clear and practical. The platinum case is paired with a gradient blue dial, while the lug design pays homage to the brand’s iconic symmetrical aesthetic. Merging functionality with beauty, it presents a fresh option for daily wear and exemplifies the evolving path of the Calatrava collection.

Also making an appearance was a table clock featuring a perpetual calendar and weekly calendar function, equipped with a movement that boasts a power reserve of up to 31 days. Unlike a wristwatch, this creation emphasizes practicality while seamlessly incorporating intricate craftsmanship, reflecting the brand’s precision engineering and expertise in large-scale mechanical devices. Designed for individuals with refined taste, it’s the perfect collectible to adorn a sophisticated office or a private study.
Apart from unveiling its new collection, Patek Philippe also held an exhibition at its Rue du Rhône headquarters, showcasing the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship through enamel, engraving, and wood marquetry techniques. Among the most captivating exhibits was the table clock with the reference number 20191M-001, which features a nostalgic depiction of an alpine skiing scene rendered through cloisonné enamel and miniature painting techniques. The hemispherical clock design echoes the aesthetic of classic Swiss travel posters, embodying a perfect fusion of artistry and historical imagery. It offers a glimpse into the boundless creativity behind Patek Philippe’s creation of artistic timepieces.
