At the Watches & Wonders Geneva exhibition, Parmigiani Fleurier unveiled six new timepieces, blending the brand’s classic elements with modern watchmaking craftsmanship. Among them, the undeniable highlight is the Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante Verzasca. This new version builds upon the iconic design first introduced in 2022 and reinterprets it with a symbolic Verzasca green dial. The color draws inspiration from the crystal-clear streams of Switzerland’s Verzasca Valley, embodying a harmonious balance between tranquility and movement. Measuring 40mm in diameter, the watch features a polished and satin-brushed stainless steel case, paired with a platinum fluted bezel, exuding understated sophistication. The dial boasts a handcrafted Grain d’Orge guilloché texture, with its intricate details adding depth and dimension under shifting light.

This dual time zone watch stands out with its unique display system. The two hour hands are crafted from 18K white gold and rose gold, respectively. The white gold hour hand can be independently adjusted via a concealed button at the 8 o’clock position, while the rose gold hour hand is fixed to display local time, allowing the wearer to keep track of the time in two locations effortlessly during travels. At its core lies the in-house PF051 automatic movement, offering a power reserve of 48 hours and featuring a 22K rose gold micro-rotor. Slim in design yet equipped with comprehensive functions, this piece perfectly marries form and utility.

Another standout creation is the Tonda PF Skeleton Slate Green, a limited edition of just 50 pieces. This masterpiece combines skeleton craftsmanship with architectural design, featuring a deep green dial inspired by the color schemes of architectural master Le Corbusier. The PF777 caliber is meticulously skeletonized, revealing intricate details where layers of interwoven components create a dynamic visual reminiscent of light weaving through shadows. The oscillating weight is crafted from platinum and engraved with the brand’s emblem at the center, while the sapphire crystal case back unveils the entire movement, balancing mechanical beauty with artistic sophistication.

The Tonda PF Chronograph welcomes a new iteration, now featuring a case diameter expanded to 44mm and paired with a sleek Mineral Blue dial. This model embodies minimalism at its core, eliminating the date window to spotlight the symmetrical elegance of its three chronograph sub-dials. The refined Grain d’Orge guilloché pattern further enhances the intricate layers of the overall design. Under the hood, it houses the PF070 high-frequency chronograph movement, COSC-certified, operating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. Despite its power, the movement boasts a slim profile of just 6.95mm and offers a robust 65-hour power reserve. The movement’s craftsmanship is equally meticulous, featuring beveled bridges and polished finishing, complemented by an open-worked 22K rose gold rotor.

The newly introduced Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Ultra-Cermet material has become one of the highlights of the exhibition. Ultra-Cermet is a composite material being applied for the first time across the entire structure of the watch case, bezel, crown, and pushers. This innovative material combines the superior hardness of ceramic with the lightweight properties of metal. Its production process takes nearly a full day, with the case components alone consisting of a remarkable 72 parts. Available in two color options, Milano Blue and London Grey, the watch is powered by the same PF070 movement found in the standard Tonda PF Sport models. It boasts an impressive 65-hour power reserve and exceptional shock and scratch resistance, making it ideal for both everyday wear and active lifestyles.

Finally, the Toric Quantième Perpétuel collection unveils two brand-new models, featuring cases crafted in 18K rose gold and platinum. The standout feature of this perpetual calendar watch lies in its unique coaxial display layout: the date, month, and leap year information are presented on two subdials, while the center space is reserved for hour and minute hands. This design ensures a balanced, clear, and highly legible dial aesthetic. Both versions are limited to only 50 pieces, showcasing painstakingly hand-polished dials in two captivating options—Golden Hour (a warm golden hue) and Morning Blue (a soft blue tone)—catered to different wearing styles. The movement boasts an intricate haute horlogerie structure, with its components crafted entirely from 18K rose gold. Through the sapphire case back, collectors can marvel at the large bridge plates, meticulous polishing, and the signature Côtes de Fleurier decoration, all of which highlight the brand’s supreme craftsmanship in fine watchmaking.
Overall, Parmigiani Fleurier, through these six new creations, once again demonstrates the brand’s profound expertise in aesthetics and mechanical design. Whether it’s the application of innovative materials, the sculpting of movement architecture, or the meticulous attention to color schemes and layout details, each element exemplifies the spirit of haute horlogerie.
