During this music festival, a series of international musical events will be held, including the 2025 Hunsfield String Competition, the 20th Saxophone Conference, and the 7th International Accordion Arts Week, attracting over 800 participants from 39 countries and regions to this grand musical celebration.
This year’s Harbin Summer Music Festival is themed around Let the world hear Hashia., featuring an opening ceremony performance, a national showcase, and East Asia City of Culture Arts Week among seven major sections. The events will continue into the near future.
By hosting three major international competitions, 79 special performances from both domestic and international artists, and over 3,000 cultural events, we are bringing a diverse musical experience to visitors and residents alike.
Peter Paul Cairns, the president of the World International Music Competition Alliance, emphasized that Harbin boasts a rich history of blending Eastern and Western music, encapsulating a cultural depth that reflects the city’s unique charm. This year’s alliance annual meeting is being held in Harbin, and we hope to use this opportunity to strengthen friendly exchanges with Harbin and other cities in China, broaden cooperation in various fields, and foster dialogue and integration between different civilizations.
