Tokyo streetwear brand Graphpaper has teamed up with Amsterdam design prodigy Camiel Fortgens to unveil a capsule collection featuring eight unique pieces, each reimagining classic garments through Fortgens' deconstructed style.
In this collaboration, Fortgens reimagines elements from Graphpaper's BASIC collection along with existing lines, injecting freshness into this Japanese brand known for its minimalist design. This fusion showcases an unrefined artistic beauty characterized by raw-edge cuts and irregular stitching, making each piece imbued with traces of life while maintaining its unique sophistication.
In the design of the outerwear, the seams of the 3L Pertex fabric shell are fully taped, creating a striking contrast with the understated, sporadic stitching on the exterior. There's also a black overcoat featuring a fringe design at the collar and placket that reveals a white lining, adding an effortlessly edgy vibe to the piece. For the lower half, Graphpaper's chef pants sport an asymmetrical front placket, while another pair of brown wool trousers stands out with its deep pleating detail.
After earning his degree in Industrial Design from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2014, Camiel Fortgens made his unique mark in the fashion world. In this collection, Fortgens emphasizes exposed details while opting for high-end tailoring fabrics, all meticulously crafted by European workshops to ensure quality.
This limited edition Camiel Fortgens x Graphpaper capsule collection will grandly launch on November 15, 2025, at all Graphpaper stores and online.
