Engineered Garments injects its unique mix-and-match style into the retro Reebok Instapump Fury 94, cleverly incorporating classic English brogue detailing into the futuristic design of these sneakers. This design breaks the traditional boundaries between loafers and low-top shoes, introducing an entirely new language of fashion.
Although the monochromatic design of these shoes feels low-key, a closer look reveals the impeccably structured brogue detailing that exudes dynamic energy. The upper edges are crafted from premium-quality leather, adorned with elegant perforations that reflect the beauty of intricate craftsmanship. This collection is available in two color options: golden brown suede and glossy black leather, inspired by the classic palette of traditional men's footwear. Particularly in the golden brown version, the contrast between the soft, velvety suede and the sleek leather adds depth to the shoes’ design. The Reebok logo is cleverly placed on the tongue and heel tab, featuring an enlarged label design to enhance visual identity. The sole retains the classic tech configuration of the Instapump Fury 94 instead of adopting a formal shoe sole, bringing a modern touch. The addition of a slightly elevated heel and carbon fiber arch further amplifies the futuristic appeal of this design.
The founder of Engineered Garments, Daiki Suzuki, stated that this collaboration showcases exceptional creativity and craftsmanship, honoring the unique personalities of both Reebok and Engineered Garments. By incorporating brogue-style detailing, these shoes bring an elegant touch of artisanal artistry while unlocking fresh possibilities for the Fury.
The latest collaboration between Reebok and Engineered Garments for the Instapump Fury 94 is priced at 250 USD and will soon be released on Reebok's official website and Nepenthes stores worldwide.
