Palace Skateboards has recently opened its second flagship store in Seoul and right on the heels of that, they bring exciting news: a brand new collaboration collection inspired by “Death Note” is on the way!
Death Note is a classic shonen mystery manga created by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. First serialized in 2003 and concluded in 2006, it consists of 108 chapters. The story follows a genius high school student, Light Yagami, who stumbles upon a mysterious notebook that allows him to kill anyone whose name and face he knows. His goal is to use this Death Note to rid the world of criminals and create a new world filled with good and hardworking people. Along the way, he engages in an intellectual battle with the detective known as “L.”
This work has surpassed 30 million copies in global sales, creating a phenomenal wave back in the day. Now, Palace Skateboards has released the first teaser image for their collaboration line, grabbing plenty of attention. The teaser not only features the presence of “L” but also cleverly transforms the font of “DEATH NOTE” into the signature style of PALACE.
Although the specific release date for this collaboration series has not been revealed yet, we believe that more information will be released soon, and it’s definitely something to look forward to.
