Hong Kong menswear exhibition “共織新意：意大利與香港男裝新浪潮” opened at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay on Wednesday, with organizers previewing SS2027 collections and inviting celebrity guests to the launch.
The exhibition, organized by the Hong Kong Design Centre, adopts the theme “Inflection” and gathers 10 emerging designers from Hong Kong and Italy to showcase the evolving vocabulary of contemporary menswear, including runway and ready-to-wear pieces.
Organizers said the event aims to create cross-cultural dialogue between Italian and Hong Kong labels and to give international exposure to local talent. Guests at the opening included K-pop artist Gawon of MOEVV and Ian Chan of the Hong Kong boy band MIRROR.

Ten designers are participating, and the show features SS2027 collections from each label. The Hong Kong Design Centre said the exhibition runs through Sept. 13, open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
