Zendaya officially joins the voice cast of "Shrek 5," where she'll lend her voice to Felicia, the daughter of Shrek and Fiona!
Recently, Universal Pictures dropped a casting announcement video confirming that Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy will be returning to reprise their iconic roles as Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey. In the clip, Donkey hilariously asks the magic mirror, "Who is the fairest of them all?" adding a humorous touch to the teaser.
Additionally, the official Instagram also shared a tweet from Zendaya posted in August 2017: "I still often rewatch Shrek as I grow up." The realization of this tweet today has been a huge surprise for fans.
This film will be co-directed by Walt Dohrn and Conrad Vernon, with the former having participated in the script and art design of Shrek 2, while Conrad served as the director of Shrek 2 and the story supervisor for Shrek 4, also voicing the gingerbread man and the little guy Rumpelstiltskin.
"Shrek 5" is set to hit theaters worldwide on December 23, 2026, and fans can look forward to the next installment in this beloved series.
