CASETiFY redefines the colors and personality of everyday essentials. Inspired by Earth Day, the brand introduces the all-new Re/CASETiFY initiative: THINK OUTSIDE THE CASE. This program aims to transform discarded phone cases into works of art, showcasing the perfect blend of sustainability and creative design.
The brand recently released its 2024 Sustainability Report, providing a detailed disclosure of having successfully recycled over 2.1 million phone cases since 2021, reducing more than 105,000 kilograms of plastic waste—a remarkable achievement. For CASETiFY, this is just the beginning. Through the Re/CASETiFY program, the brand seeks to reimagine the value of tech accessory waste, explore endless possibilities, and push the creative boundaries of sustainability.
To bring the concept of the Re/CASETiFY program to life, CASETiFY collaborated with several contemporary creatives, breathing new life into recycled materials. New York designer Cody Hoyt, known for his ingenious use of bold colors and geometric patterns, pushed the boundaries of traditional phone case design by creating a mosaic-style art bench. This piece not only serves a practical purpose but also beautifully encapsulates the aesthetics of sustainable design, turning discarded materials into an unexpectedly stunning creation.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong-based creative studio reEDIT LAB showcased its talent for upcycling by designing a series of vibrant phone stands made from recycled materials. Seamlessly blending practicality with playfulness, they’ve given sustainable design a fresh, creative edge.
Cody Hoyt's artistic bench will be showcased at CASETiFY STUDiO in Hong Kong K11 Musea, while the phone stand designed by reEDIT LAB will be available in limited quantities at designated stores in Hong Kong K11 Musea, Causeway Bay, and APM.
