The latest teaser trailer marks the beginning of a new chapter in the Alien universe. This series, produced by Noah Hawley, creative director of Legion and Fargo, is set two years before Ridley Scott’s iconic masterpiece. It follows a group of soldiers as they investigate a crashed spaceship, unexpectedly uncovering Xenomorphs and other unknown creatures along the way.
Two teaser trailers have been released this time. The first short clip showcases the silhouettes of five mysterious and deadly species, while the second teaser, titled Gestation Complete, runs for 3 minutes and 19 seconds, unveiling the growth process of a new species aboard the Weyland-Yutani ship, delivering an intense sense of horror. One of the creatures bears a resemblance to the early form of the Proto-Xenomorph from Prometheus, possibly connecting certain plots and settings left behind in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant.
Unlike previous《Alien》series that consistently focused on the classic Xenomorph and Facehugger storyline,《Alien: Earth》will introduce up to five brand-new monsters for the first time. Even more exciting, the setting shifts to Earth this time, significantly escalating the scale and intensity of the story. The cast includes a stellar lineup of talented actors such as Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, and Kit Young.
According to the latest news, this series is expected to premiere on Disney+ in the summer of 2025, offering fans a thrilling new Alien adventure to look forward to.
