Breitling has unveiled its brand-new Top Time B01 Racing and Top Time B01 Martini Racing chronograph series, drawing inspiration from classic racing to reignite the vibrant spirit of the 1960s—a golden era of adrenaline and speed. Building on its long-standing ties to the world of motorsports, the brand introduces three new timepieces in this launch. Two of the models pay homage to the rallying spirit, while the third is a collaboration with the legendary Martini Racing. Each of the three watches is limited to 750 pieces and is powered by Breitling’s in-house Calibre 01 movement, certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) for exceptional precision and durability.
The Top Time Racing edition retains the classic 38mm stainless steel cushion-shaped case and its iconic Square and round small watch face design. The dial layout evokes the dashboards of vintage race cars, delivering a sense of nostalgia intertwined with speed. Two colorways are available: a black-and-white dial paired with a beige calfskin strap, and a green-and-white dial with a perforated green racing-style strap—reminiscent of classic driving gloves. Equipped with Super-LumiNova® luminescent hands and markers, it ensures optimal readability day and night. Inside, it houses the Breitling Caliber 01 automatic movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and features a column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism, expertly designed for stable performance in high-speed environments.
As for the Top Time B01 Martini Racing, it merges racing legends with iconic design elements, featuring the classic red and blue stripes of Martini Racing as the dominant motif on the dial, giving it outstanding visual recognition. Set against a white background, the dial is accented with blue sub-dials and signature stripes, paired with a deep blue perforated racing-style calfskin strap to deliver a dynamic and sporty look. The case back is engraved with 《One of 750》 and 《Martini Racing》, highlighting its limited-edition status. The functionality matches that of the Racing version, equipped with the Calibre 01 automatic chronograph movement, seamlessly combining design and performance into one.
