A.SOCIETY has teamed up with the accessories brand Topologie to launch a brand new Out of Space collaboration series that blends pragmatism with futuristic aesthetics, creating a whole new wearing experience that showcases avant-garde style and portability. In response to this collaboration, a variety of innovative glasses and accessories have been created, aiming to break through tradition.
The series draws its design inspiration from the golden age of sci-fi films in the 60s and 70s, featuring classics like A Space Odyssey 2001, First contact, and Human ancestors invade Earth, while extending a visually striking futuristic language. The main color palette is anchored in The space is blank., Gold foil color, and Slate Gray, complemented by accents of Vivid Crimson, creating a perfect contrast between matte and metallic sheens that highlights a dialogue between retro and futurism in its design language.
This launch features four new eyewear models that emphasize lightness, portability, and practicality. Among them, the Adam and Janja models showcase ultra-light sunglasses crafted with stainless steel frames and foldable nose pads, offering a comfortable yet stylish option for everyday wear. Meanwhile, Magnus continues with a futurist design ethos, showcasing a hidden folding mechanism that eliminates the traditional visible crease, resulting in a sleek and functional silhouette. Inspired by the enveloping nature of a space helmet, Margo incorporates elements of Topologie climbing hooks, boasting an adjustable and interchangeable design that allows for personalized styling.
