The luxury all-electric vehicle brand AVATR, created through a collaboration between Chang’an Automobile, Huawei, and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., has officially launched in the Hong Kong market via Dah Chong Hong Automotive. The debut model, AVATR 11, serves as the brand’s flagship SUV, showcasing not only its technological prowess and design strength but also delivering an entirely new luxury travel experience. The vehicle’s design is led by the Munich Design Center in Germany, featuring futuristic lines and a space-inspired appearance that has garnered the 2024 Red Dot Design Award. Measuring 4,880 x 1,970 x 1,601mm with a long wheelbase of 2,975mm, it comes equipped with 21-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels and Brembo brake calipers, available in six color options, including two matte finishes.
The AVATR 11 comes in two versions: Premium (90kWh) and Max (116kWh), offering a driving range of 475 kilometers and 600 kilometers respectively (WLTP). It features a single motor rear-wheel drive system, boasting a maximum power of 230kW and peak torque of 370Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in just 6.6 seconds. In terms of charging efficiency, the time required to charge from 30% to 80% is 15 minutes and 25 minutes respectively.
The cabin features a blend of NAPPA leather and suede, equipped with a 1.416㎡ panoramic sunroof, a three-screen layout, and a 25-speaker system provided by the British audio brand Meridian. With zero-gravity seats that offer ventilation and massage functions, along with 256-color ambient lighting, it creates a space that balances high-tech sophistication with comfort. Additionally, it supports the factory app for remote control and intelligent parking functions, enhancing everyday usability.
The event also showcased the limited edition AVATR 012, designed in collaboration with Kim Jones, with only 700 units available worldwide. This model beautifully merges high fashion aesthetics with electric vehicle technology, delivering a unique design language. Hong Kong artist Charmaine Sheh was present at the event and praised the AVATR 11 for its stylish appearance and comfortable interior, perfect for everyday urban driving and relaxation.
AVATR 11 has officially landed in the Kowloon Bay showroom and is now available for orders. The suggested retail price for the Premium version is HKD $513,800, while the Max version is priced at HKD $608,800, with deliveries expected to commence around mid-year.
