Recently, LEGO Ideas announced the results of its 2024 annual selection, unveiling two brand new sets designed by passionate LEGO enthusiasts, featuring classic space rockets from Godzilla and The Adventures of Tintin.
Firstly, the creation from MattE720 is inspired by films such as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, and Godzilla and King Kong: The New Empire. While the exact number of pieces and dimensions of this set have yet to be revealed, it is expected to be a massive model with an impressive presence.
Another selected set, The Adventures of Tintin, faithfully recreates the classic red and white rocket that the protagonist Tintin and his companions rode in the 1953 comic Destination Moon. Designer Tkel86 has shared detailed information, revealing that this set consists of 1,022 rocket pieces and a launch tower made up of 643 parts. The rocket beautifully showcases the original’s red and white color scheme, while the yellow launch tower features three bridges connecting to the rocket, with intricate details meticulously crafted.
