According to the latest news from the well-known retail leaker extras1s, information from two European retailers suggests that Microsoft’s Xbox ROG Ally and Xbox ROG Ally X handheld consoles might become some of the most expensive handhelds on the market.
According to reports, the suggested retail price for the Xbox ROG Ally is €599 (approximately $690), while the Xbox ROG Ally X is priced at a steep €899 (around $1,035). The informant further revealed that pre-orders for both handhelds are expected to begin soon, with the official release date set for October. However, Microsoft and ASUS have yet to confirm these rumors.
Additionally, Dexerto adds that the price reported this time is significantly higher than that of ASUS’s previously launched ROG Ally handheld. Notably, the ROG Ally handheld that debuted in 2023 was priced at $599 and $699, while the upcoming ROG Ally X set to launch in 2024 will be priced at $800.
