JOOPITER recently announced that the collaboration auction between sacai and SEVENTEEN concluded successfully with a perfect outcome of White gloves. The 14 customizable LABUBU figurines captured everyone's attention.
These 14 LABUBU pieces are revamped from the POP MART x How2work Green Edition plush toys, inspired by Kasing Lung's The Monsters series. The total auction amount reached $337,500, setting a new record for LABUBU plush toy auctions. Out of these, 13 dolls are dressed in light khaki jumpsuits, adorned with golden and silver accessories, symbolizing the 13 members of SEVENTEEN. The final piece, a hidden edition, is inspired by Pharrell Williams' preferred sacai item, which sold for $31,250.
Other highlights of the auction include a J-17-S T-shirt personally signed by members of SEVENTEEN, as well as the custom sacai leather jacket they wore in the Bad Influence music video. All proceeds from this auction will be donated to UNESCO to support initiatives driven by SEVENTEEN (Youth Goodwill Ambassadors) and Pharrell Williams (Arts Education and Entrepreneurship Goodwill Ambassador).
