Following their first collaboration in 2023, Franck Muller has once again teamed up with the Japanese streetwear brand #FR2 to unveil the limited edition #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach watch.
Tokyo streetwear brand #FR2 is renowned for its iconic Fxxking Rabbits logo. It has established a significant status in the fashion scene through collaborations across various sectors. Two years ago, Franck Muller made its debut collaboration with FR2, launching the #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard limited-edition watch. This bold fusion of both brands’ signature designs sparked a frenzy in both the streetwear and watch communities, selling out the limited 800 pieces in no time.
This year, Franck Muller has once again teamed up with #FR2 for a new watch collaboration that continues to showcase the iconic Fxxking Rabbits design. Departing from the previous monochromatic palette, this collection bursts with vibrant summer shades, bringing together three colorways: Heat Wave Red, Surf Blue, and Tropical Green, perfectly embodying the sunny beach vibes of summer. But these three color options are more than just a change in hues; each watch face is uniquely designed. Heat Wave Red represents sunbathing under a parasol, Surf Blue captures the essence of surfing on the waves, and Tropical Green evokes the laid-back atmosphere of palm trees. To complete each scene, the date display cleverly sits at the 2 o’clock position, echoing the #FR2 brand and transforming into the sun in the artwork. To enhance depth and night-time visibility, the rabbit design and markers feature Super-Luminova luminescent coating, ensuring that the watch face remains easily readable in the dark. The cases also reflect the three colorways, made from high-saturation colors that start by melting glass at 1500°C, which is then drawn into ultra-fine fiber strands. It cools at 700°C, is shaped into sheets, dyed, layered, and ultimately compressed into a composite material for the watch case.
In addition, each watch case is paired with a nylon strap lined with leather and features a Velcro buckle, making it easy to wear and clean off sand at the beach. The strap also showcases multiple details, including street-style Japanese characters and exclusive graphics that continue the design of the dial. Inside, it houses the Franck Muller self-made MVT 2536-SCDT2H automatic movement, ensuring a stable and reliable performance for a comfortable wearing experience.
As the exclusive release for the Asia-Pacific region, the all-new #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach limited edition will launch on July 17, 2025, in the Asia-Pacific region, with three colorways, each limited to 300 pieces.
