Bell & Ross reinvigorates the BR-05 series with a fresh perspective, introducing the all-black skeleton ceramic version — the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic. Limited to just 500 pieces, it fuses the design language of military stealth aircraft with an urban industrial vibe, redefining the aesthetics of stealth. This watch is crafted entirely from matte black ceramic, emphasizing unity and minimalism, while also embodying a strong mechanical essence and the beauty of architectural lines.

The watch case is crafted from high-strength black ceramic, featuring scratch resistance and corrosion protection, and has undergone meticulous sanding and polishing treatment. The surface exudes a layered, sophisticated sheen, reminiscent of the F-117 stealth fighter’s design—low-key yet visually striking. The design continues to embody the signature geometric proportions of Bell & Ross’s Finding the round within the square., integrating elements of aviation instrument panels into the context of modern watchmaking, reinterpreting the connection between urban style and aerospace technology.

Through the deep gray sapphire glass dial, one can glimpse the elegantly blackened BR-CAL.322-1 automatic movement inside. The skeleton structure vividly showcases the black upper plates and the custom 360-degree oscillating weight, with its intricately arranged components creating a striking visual depth and precision beauty. With a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a 54-hour power reserve, while the absence of a calendar function keeps the mechanical structure beautifully pure.

The bezel features a matte black sloped design, complemented by skeleton hour and minute hands filled with gray Super-LumiNova® luminescent material, which emit a vibrant green glow in low light, ensuring clarity for nighttime reading. The rhodium-coated second hand and the surface of the hour and minute hands catch a subtle glimmer under light, creating a harmonious contrast with the deep black base, beautifully merging practicality with visual appeal.

The watch has a diameter of 41 millimeters and a thickness of 11.2 millimeters, offering a balanced yet striking presence when worn. It’s waterproof up to 100 meters and comes with two options: a black ceramic bracelet and a black rubber strap, both featuring a folding clasp that ensures comfort and security. This piece was specifically designed to commemorate the five-year anniversary of the BR-05 series, merging nearly 30 years of the brand’s passion and expertise in aerospace and watchmaking. With black as the core design element, it highlights Bell & Ross’s deep exploration of futurism and horological aesthetics.
In terms of suggested retail prices, the ceramic strap version is priced at HKD 75,000, while the version with a rubber strap is set at HKD 67,800, making them suitable for both collectors and everyday wear.
