This next-generation automotive solution features intelligent control over the glass’s transparency, allowing for flexible adjustment of interior lighting. The all-new ES8 features a spacious cabin design that caters to diverse lighting needs across various driving scenarios. By introducing the Ambilight EC intelligent dimming side windows, NIO takes user experience and practicality to the next level, allowing passengers to enjoy a more flexible and smart seating environment. In the darkest setting, the light transmission rate can be reduced to 0.35%, ensuring clear visibility for the driver even in intense sunlight.
The advantage of the EC smart dimming side windows lies in their ability to effectively block up to 99.9% of ultraviolet rays and 97% of infrared rays. This significantly reduces the heat brought in by sunlight, keeping the cabin temperature comfortable while ensuring skin health all year round. Additionally, the system supports independent control across four zones, three levels of adjustment, and one-touch switching, providing users with a flexible and convenient lighting management experience.
