A. Lange & Söhne watches unveiled two new complicated models at Watches and Wonders 2026, including a 50-piece LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” and a more everyday SAXONIA ANNUAL CALENDAR.
At Watches and Wonders 2026, A. Lange & Söhne said the two releases show distinct approaches to watchmaking, one focused on high complication and theatrical display, the other on daily wear and legibility.

The centerpiece is the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen”, which keeps the series signature off center dial architecture while integrating multiple complications in a clear layout. According to A. Lange & S&ohne, the dial arrangement uses an isosceles triangle as the visual base, with a large date, retrograde weekday, small seconds, and moon phase all balanced around the time display at the top of the layout.
The LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” is limited to 50 pieces, the company said, and it combines a flying tourbillon with a perpetual calendar. The tourbillon includes a stop seconds function to improve setting precision, and the calendar uses an outer month ring with an instantaneous jump mechanism so every calendar indication changes in a single, sharp action.

The model takes its “Lumen” name from broad luminous treatment, the brand said, expanding glow to multiple displays including the big date, moon phase, and leap year indicator. For the first time the moon phase also shows day and night, so the display remains legible in low light while offering greater practical information.
Inside is the newly developed in house caliber L225.1, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The case measures 41.9 millimeters across, and 13.0 millimeters high, which is about 1.65 inches by 0.51 inches. The watch ships on a black alligator strap with a 950 platinum folding quick release clasp, and A. Lange & S&ohne described the overall proportions as balanced and weighty.

Saxonia Annual Calendar, designed for everyday use
The SAXONIA ANNUAL CALENDAR takes a quieter direction, with a focus on legibility and daily practicality, A. Lange & S&ohne said. The dial is uncluttered, with weekday at 9 o’clock, month at 3 o’clock, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock that incorporates the moon phase, creating a balanced layout that avoids crowding.
The moon phase is accurate to one day of error only every 122.6 years, the brand said. The moon disk is crafted in 18 karat gold and coated in a deep blue finish, and it is decorated with 428 stars to create a detailed star field effect.

The annual calendar automatically distinguishes 30 day months from 31 day months, and requires a single correction at the end of February each year. A. Lange & S&ohne said the calendar and moon phase can be adjusted using independent correctors, and a button at 10 o’clock advances all displays by one step for convenience.
The Saxonia model is offered in two materials, 18 karat rose gold with a gray dial for a warm contrast, and 18 karat white gold with a silver dial for a more restrained look. Both versions come on hand stitched alligator straps with pin buckles, the company said, and the new automatic movement was designed to keep the case slim for comfortable daily wear.
Collectors of A. Lange & S&ohne watches will note the brand continues to balance technical ambition with wearability. A. Lange & S&ohne provided the specifications and production limits at its Watches and Wonders presentation; the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” is limited to 50 pieces.
At the show the manufacturer did not announce public prices. Interested buyers should contact authorized A. Lange & S&ohne dealers for availability and ordering information.
