New Balance 2010 returns in a Sea Moss and Afterglow colorway, bringing a summer-ready look to the brand's retro-running silhouette, the company said in a release.
The New Balance 2010's upper uses durable mesh, with bright Afterglow panels layered over a Sea Moss base to create contrast and depth. The combination highlights seasonal color while keeping the shoe's lines clean and restrained.
New Balance 2010 design details
The mesh upper is reinforced at stress points and finished with tonal overlays and reflective piping to improve visibility and structure. Logos and stitching are subtle, letting the Sea Moss and Afterglow palette do the visual work.
Comfort and performance
The New Balance 2010 features a sculptural midsole built from layered foam contours, giving the shoe a modern profile that still reads as retro. ABZORB SBS cushioning, embedded in the midsole, absorbs impact and is designed to raise comfort for everyday commutes.
The outsole uses a textured rubber compound tuned for urban surfaces, which helps maintain traction on pavement and subway steps. Rubber outsole tread, combined with the midsole geometry, aims to balance stability and responsiveness.
New Balance did not immediately provide pricing or a release date for the New Balance 2010, the company said. For now, the Sea Moss and Afterglow colorway is positioned as part of the brand's summer offerings.
