ASICS Gel-Kayano 33 arrives as an update to the brand’s long-running stability line, centering on improved stability and comfort with a new FLUIDSUPPORT stability system, ASICS said in a product release.

The new FLUIDSUPPORT system replaces the previous stability setup with a redesigned dual-layer midsole intended to help runners keep a more natural, fluid stride from landing through push-off, ASICS said.
ASICS Gel-Kayano 33 midsole and cushioning
The GEL-KAYANO 33 pairs two foam formulas for the first time, combining a top layer of FF BLAST MAX with a lower layer of FF BLAST PLUS, ASICS said. FF BLAST MAX is meant to provide softer underfoot feel and rebound, while FF BLAST PLUS adds support to balance cushioning and stability, making the shoe suited to long runs and everyday training.

Cushioning, outsole and upper details
At the heel, the GEL-KAYANO 33 uses PureGEL technology to help absorb impact, ASICS said. The shoe also features a new Hybrid ASICSGRIP outsole that blends traction and abrasion resistance, plus an engineered mesh upper and an upgraded eyelet system to improve breathability, fit and overall comfort.
ASICS said the GEL-KAYANO 33 is available now at select ASICS stores and through ASICS’ official online store. The men’s and women’s models are both priced at approximately $177 (originally 1,390 HKD / reference rate 1 HKD = 0.1276 USD).
