The KYUBI Marvel pop up at AIRSIDE in Kai Tak brings a limited time store, character installations, a courtyard shooting game, and a street basketball tournament all under one roof, organizers said.
Plan how you want to spend your visit first, because the pop up is as much a place for photos and casual play as it is a shopping destination: are you coming to take pictures with friends, to buy a wearable character piece, or to soak up the game day atmosphere at the final?
KYUBI Marvel pop up, find your reason
The difference matters. The shop carries many items, but prices, available sizes, the method for obtaining collectible charms from display cases, and the roster for the celebrity game have not been fully released by organizers, so it helps to treat the site as a summer stop with characters, a hoop, and small games before deciding how long to stay and how much to spend.
If you like photography, focus on the black and white checkerboard platform outside the store, the Spider-Man installation, and the Infinity Stone glove trophy. Organizers said the trophy is on display in the shop now and will be given to the champion on Aug. 16. For fans familiar with the comics, the appeal is in composing a scene that connects character confrontation, the metal glove, and the court lines.

The court is not just a backdrop
The courtyard court places comic art, the hoop, and the KYUBI mark all in one sightline, and it is the most dynamic part of the activation. From July 25 to Aug. 30, the court will host a nine square shooting game and a large circle shooting game, open daily from noon to 8 p.m., organizers said. The competition is not an official league match, but it is enough to stop mall passersby and make them take a shot.
Organizers said player slots for the tournament are full. Visitors who did not sign up should focus on watching and trying the public games in the play area rather than expecting to join the tournament at the last minute.

Do not rush to fill your bag
Racks, clear display cases, and wall installations run through the store, which can create the urge to buy more because you are already there. But the pieces worth taking home are the ones you will wear again, not items bought to fill a shopping bag. If you are targeting a specific character or a certain cut, ask about sizes, styles, and restock plans before choosing between prints.

Wear it out and it becomes meaningful
Items like the Doctor Doom jacket and tees put character masks and comic compositions onto garments, while the Spider Man number 62 basketball jersey, hoodies, and the Iron Punisher vest jacket lean toward street style you can wear beyond the court. Some design highlights are on the back or in partial prints, so spread the garment out to see the full composition and try it on to check the cut.

Collectibles, but know the rules first
The KYUBI Charm Collection S13 Spider Man and X Men series are aimed at a different mood: comic covers and characters reduced to small metal charms meant for bags or display shelves. Each series has 14 variants. Store staff said it is not yet clear whether customers can request specific charms, whether they will be sold in blind boxes, the single box price, or the restock schedule. If you want a particular cover, ask the staff about the rules before you buy, to avoid duplicates later.

Save the highlight for the final
Merchandise and installations draw people in, but the games give the scene a next step. The tournament runs from Aug. 1 to Aug. 16 in the AIRSIDE Level 2 courtyard, with the finale and celebrity game scheduled for Aug. 16, according to materials provided by KYUBI and AIRSIDE management. The celebrity roster and the day s timetable have not been published in full, so organizers recommend reserving that date for people who plan to watch the game.

One minute before you go
If you plan to take photos, visit Shop 210, Level 2 during store hours. If you want to shoot hoops, the courtyard is open from noon to 8 p.m. each day. If you want to watch the tournament, the key date is Aug. 16. The promotional gifts follow a tiered spend structure, organizers said: spend approximately $128 (originally 1,000 HKD) on KYUBI MARVEL theme series to receive one of two posters, spend $255 (originally 2,000 HKD) to receive one of two special towels, and spend approximately $383 (originally 3,000 HKD) or more to receive the full set of limited gifts. Confirm gift designs, stock, and collection procedures with the cashier before payment.
