Louis Vuitton men’s formal for Spring/Summer 2027 is led by men’s creative director Pharrell Williams, the house said, expanding the brand’s businesswear offering with tailored suits, eveningwear, outerwear and accessories.
Louis Vuitton said in a press release that Williams approached the 2027 spring and summer formal range by combining business dressing with collegiate references, aiming to give modern men more options for formal occasions.
Louis Vuitton men’s formal suits center on three classic cuts
The collection centers on three signature suit silhouettes: Gaston, Napolitana and Pont Neuf, the brand said. Gaston adopts a roomier profile, Napolitana is cut closer to the body, and Pont Neuf keeps a traditional, tailored proportion to suit different dressing preferences.
Details include LV roundels, Monogram motifs, branded buttons, leather zipper pulls and tonal embroidery. Fabrics range from silk blends to wool and cashmere mixes, which the house said are chosen to add subtle layering and texture to formal outfits.
Outerwear and evening looks blend tailoring with utility
Beyond classic suiting, the Louis Vuitton men’s formal lineup retools sport jackets and evening wear with mixed materials such as calfskin, felted wool and reversible wool-cashmere blends. Some jackets include adjustable stand collars for a closer fit.
Evening pieces reference workwear through details like Damier crystal buttons, Monogram silk linings and bead embroidery, which the brand said are intended to make formal dressing feel contemporary and functional.
For seasonal versatility, the house added a three-in-one technical coat, a windbreaker and a removable high-neck vest, all designed to layer with the collection’s suiting and sport pieces.
Business bags, shoes and accessories complete the looks
The LV Aerogram line expands with business-leaning bags, including the Fastline backpack, Boarding messenger, Takeoff Pouch and Gate briefcase, Louis Vuitton said. The Christopher backpack, Keepall holdall and Horizon luggage arrive in new colorways to match formal outfits.
Shoes cover the Louvre, Westminster, Mayfair and LV Gent families, built with Goodyear Flex and Sacchetto constructions for both comfort and durability. The collection pairs technical shoe builds with classic dress shapes to bridge formal formality and everyday wear.
Accessories include LV Signature sunglasses, a Monogram Stellar cashmere scarf and a selection of ties to finish looks. Louis Vuitton said the accessories are intended to give a coherent visual language to the new formal direction.
Pharrell Williams, who oversees the house’s menswear direction, presented the collection as a way to broaden contemporary formalwear choices, while keeping traditional tailoring techniques and brand signatures at the core.
Retail dates and prices were not disclosed in the statement. Louis Vuitton said more details will be available closer to the runway presentation and retail rollout.
