The new release Dark Hours (Heist Horror Night) from the French indie development team Piece of Cake Studios is set to launch its official version after over a year of early access, promising players even more thrilling content and gameplay. This first-person heist escape survival horror game is packed with uniquely conceptualized cooperative challenges, supporting up to four players to embark on this adventure together.
In the game, players take on the role of a thief, sneaking into highly secure places like auction houses, casinos, and museums to steal valuable items. However, once you step into these scenes, you soon realize that you are being watched by supernatural forces, making teamwork and collaboration the only way to escape this nightmare.
Dark Hours draws inspiration from Phasmophobia (Phasmophobia), where four players must work together to complete missions. However, the standout feature here is the interactive mechanism of Betraying teammates. Players can push their teammates to escape in a pinch, or even sneak stolen items into their partners' bags, utilizing sound to attract the monsters' attention and create hilarious gameplay moments.
During the early access period, players found the interactions with teammates while playing Black eats black to be particularly hilarious. However, teamwork remains essential, as you need to rely on your companions to utilize tools, solve puzzles, and support each other in order to successfully escape from challenging environments.
As night deepens, the threat of monsters intensifies, and the game's maps are randomly generated, adding a fresh twist to every challenge. The official version will introduce eight types of monsters and over 50 looted items, with settings expanding to include nuclear power plants and cruise ships, totaling 60 maps. Additionally, it will feature more than 12 missions along with various mini-games, puzzles, and traps.
In addition to the standard mode, the new PvPvE mode allows for exciting confrontations between two teams of thieves, while three brand new game modes—Golden Rabbit, Curling, and Red Light Green Light—will offer players a variety of challenges. Ongoing updates will also bring even more content to everyone.
Get ready for the arrival of Dark Hours (Ocean's Eleven: A Heist to Remember) in its official version, set to be released on PC Steam and EGS platforms, supporting Traditional Chinese and cross-platform gameplay. This is a blend of strategy and luck, and the adventure is about to begin!
