In addition, the 4000 square foot Soundstage within the recording space will host live performances, multi-camera shoots, fan activities, and screening events. The exclusive Spatial Audio mixing room is equipped with a 9.2.4 PMC speaker system, ensuring an exceptional audio production experience. There are also other ancillary facilities including a photo and social media lab, editing and cutting rooms, lounges, and soundproof rooms with privacy.
Rachel Newman, co-head of Apple Music, stated that Apple Music's broadcasting platform has always been a home for artistic creation and storytelling, as well as a stage that inspires bold conversations and surprises. The new creative space will further fulfill Apple's commitment to providing artists with an ideal environment to create, connect, and share. This recording space in Los Angeles will become a part of the global network of creative hubs, which already spans New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, and Nashville, and will continue to expand in the future.
In addition to the launch of the new recording space, Apple Music is also releasing an annual special version of Musical Memories experience Replay All Time, allowing users to revisit their most played tracks since joining Apple Music. This feature expands on the existing Replay functionality, which previously let users see their favorite songs for each calendar year. The Replay All Time now offers a comprehensive list of the 100 most loved songs across all subscription years.
The Replay All Time feature is displayed on the homepage of Apple Music in a paginated format and will automatically update based on users' complete listening history. This presents a fresh opportunity for long-term subscribers of Apple Music to gain a comprehensive understanding of their listening habits.
