Pixel 11 models and official sign-up
Google’s event landing page and registration form on its store site name the Pixel 11 line explicitly, and begin accepting sign-ups for the series, confirming the model name after weeks of speculation, Google said on the registration page.
The company appears to be preparing a lineup that includes Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, while earlier reporting by 9to5Google says a Pixel 11 Pro Fold could follow in October, following Google’s past schedule for foldable launches.
Design teasers, Pixel Glow and a flatter metal edge
The teaser suggests a flatter metal frame and a camera module that runs almost across the phone’s width, details that industry sites say make the phone feel closer to a squared-off design than prior generations, 9to5Google and Android Central reported.
The clip and invitation also hint at a feature called Pixel Glow, an RGB-style notification light under the black glass of the camera module, a detail that has appeared repeatedly in prior leaks and now receives indirect confirmation from the official teaser.
What the leaks say about specs
Online CAD renders and retail listings circulating ahead of the event suggest the standard Pixel 11 will keep similar overall dimensions to its predecessor, but slim slightly to about 8.5 millimeters thick, multiple outlets reported.
Leaks also point to a 50 megapixel main camera, the new Tensor G6 system-on-chip, and a possible change to base storage, with the 128 gigabyte entry tier replaced by a 256 gigabyte starting option, according to Android Central and 9to5Google.
If Google does move the base model to 256 gigabytes, industry observers say that would likely push retail prices higher than previous generations.
Accessories and Pixel Watch timing
Google has historically launched new Pixel Watch models alongside Pixel phones at its fall hardware events, and outlets expect the Pixel Watch 5 series to appear at the Aug. 12 show as well, Android Central reported.
Hong Kong market context and pricing
Pixel phones are not sold officially in Hong Kong, and the devices there arrive mainly through grey-market imports and overseas online orders, local resellers and market watchers said.
Those sellers say last year’s Pixel 10 grey-market prices in Hong Kong were generally about 30 percent to 40 percent higher than U.S. list prices. If a Pixel 11 model with a 256 gigabyte base were to reach the grey market near or above HK$7,000, that would be approximately $893 (originally HK$7,000), which could affect upgrade decisions for Hong Kong buyers.
