Hoi An river suites at Anantara Hoi An Resort have received the property’s largest renovation since the resort opened in 2013, with 19 river-view suites refreshed and public spaces reworked to bring guests closer to the Thu Bon River, the resort said.
The update covers eight new Thu Bon River Suites, 10 renovated Premium River Suites, and a reconfigured signature suite that is now the Anantara Two-Bedroom River Suite, the resort said. Designers blended Hoi An’s colonial-era architecture with Asian motifs, and many suites use staggered layouts with private terraces or balconies facing the river.
What the Hoi An river suites include
The new Thu Bon River Suite measures 58 square meters, about 624 square feet, and can accommodate three adults and one child, the resort said. The Premium River Suite is 42 square meters, about 452 square feet. The Anantara Two-Bedroom River Suite spans 84 square meters, about 904 square feet, with two king bedrooms and room for four adults.
Suite services and spa benefits for guests
Guests staying in the upgraded suites will have an assigned room host and may check in and check out from their room, Anantara Hoi An Resort said. Each guest’s stay includes one 60-minute spa treatment, and guests also have access to the resort’s private steam room.
Other in-room amenities listed by the resort include bath salts, premium teas, a welcome bottle of wine, and a beach tote. Guests in the Two-Bedroom River Suite and the Garden Suite can also rent a private minibar locker, the resort said.
Poolside and riverside dining near the Hoi An river suites
The resort redesigned its pool area as a tropical leisure space built along the Thu Bon River, adding cabanas, oversized loungers, and landscaped gardens, the resort said. The setting is intended for morning swims, poolside relaxation in the afternoon, and cocktails at sunset.
The resort also reworked the Art Space Restaurant & Bar, adding a tropical outdoor terrace, a sit-up bar, and a performance stage for regular live music. Menu highlights include signature cocktails, tapas-style snacks, and wood-fired pizzas made in an on-site oven. The restaurant continues to display works by local Vietnamese and resident international artists, the resort said.
Why the renovation matters for visitors
Anantara Hoi An Resort operates 92 rooms and suites in total, and the renovation preserved the Deluxe Balcony Rooms and Deluxe Garden Suites while adding refreshed riverfront options, the resort said. The property also retains an Anantara Spa and four meeting rooms.
For first-time visitors, Hoi An’s ancient town remains a must-see, but the new river-front offerings give travelers more reason to spend time on property: Hoi An river suites, a riverside pool, a complimentary 60-minute spa treatment, and evening live music now make it easy to plan a slower, hotel-focused stay, the resort said.
