Honda has officially launched its new entry-level electric vehicle, the N-ONE e:, and has also set up a dedicated website to reveal detailed information about this model, which will hit the market in Japan this September. With the debut of the N-ONE e:, Honda's tuning brand, Honda Access, has simultaneously introduced a range of accessories specifically designed for this vehicle, aiming to enhance its personalization and practicality.

The N-ONE e: is Honda's second lightweight electric vehicle (k-car), meticulously crafted for everyday driving. Its body length adheres to Japan's k-car standards, not exceeding 3.4 meters, which gives it a versatile edge in urban driving. The new model features a single electric motor with a maximum output of approximately 63 bhp (47 kW), aligning with Japan's lightweight vehicle regulations. In terms of range, the N-ONE e: has been tested according to WLTP standards, boasting a distance that is expected to exceed 270 kilometers, outpacing the commercial version N-Van e’s 245 kilometers. Additionally, this new car supports rapid charging of up to 50 kW, thanks to its compact battery pack, allowing for a full charge in about 30 minutes.

In terms of appearance, the exclusive kit offered by Honda Access for Luxury Aesthetic includes a black and silver Decal Front Grille that significantly enhances the car's front recognition and premium feel. Additionally, with race-inspired stripes positioned on the front, rear, and sides of the vehicle, it creates an even sportier look. Consumers can choose from five colors, including Cheerful Green, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Fjord Mist Pearl, and Seabed Blue Pearl.

In response to practical needs, Honda Access introduces an AC external power supply with a maximum output of 1,500W, allowing the N-ONE e: to transform into a large mobile power source for camping or emergencies, showcasing the multifunctionality of electric vehicles. The new model is also equipped with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capabilities, enabling it to power external devices or households. Additionally, owners can choose to install an EV charging indicator light, allowing them to check the remaining battery life and charging progress from outside the vehicle, even when it is locked, enhancing the user experience.

The N-ONE e: continues Honda's renowned Ultra Seat multifunctional seating design, allowing this compact vehicle to boast impressive spatial versatility. Its interior embraces a minimalist aesthetic, featuring physical buttons, a one-pedal driving mode, and a 50:50 split-folding rear seat to enhance cargo capacity. Additionally, the N-ONE e: comes standard with the Honda Sensing safety system, with an option for a 9-inch Honda Connect navigation system. In the future, Honda Access will introduce more practical accessories to further elevate the functionality of the cabin.

In addition to its planned launch in Japan this September, the N-ONE e: will also make its debut at the IAA Munich auto show in Europe, showcasing Honda's determination to take this lightweight electric vehicle global. The new model aims to compete in the electric lightweight vehicle market against rivals like the Nissan Sakura.
