Apple has launched a limited edition of the Beats Solo 4 – JENNIE Special Edition headphones in collaboration with JENNIE from the Korean girl group BLACKPINK, available at select Apple Store locations. These headphones come in a vibrant Ruby Red color and are priced at $199.99, which is approximately HK$1,560, matching the price of the standard version. However, they are not yet available for retail in Hong Kong.
The special edition headphones draw their design inspiration from JENNIE's solo album Ruby, featuring a vibrant red hue complemented by two detachable red bow decorations and a matching storage bag. For the first time, the UltraPlush ear cushion on one side incorporates symbolic patterns inspired by JENNIE's music and aesthetic, while the headband showcases the details of R and J, adding a personalized touch.
JENNIE stated, Beats is an essential part of my daily life and creative process, so collaborating in this way is truly special. I can’t wait for people to experience my music in a whole new way through these headphones..
This limited edition headphone is being launched in the markets of the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, and South Korea, available for a limited time at select Apple Store locations, while it has not yet been released in Hong Kong.
Despite its specially designed appearance, the JENNIE edition headphones have performance identical to the standard Beats Solo 4. Weighing in at just 217 grams, they feature custom 40mm drivers that support personalized spatial audio and dynamic head tracking. The battery life is also impressive, offering up to 50 hours of playback. With a quick charge function, users can enjoy 5 hours of music playback with just a 10-minute charge. When connected via USB-C or a 3.5mm audio cable, the headphones support lossless audio playback, and using the 3.5mm cable ensures that battery power is conserved.
This marks JENNIE's second collaboration with the Beats brand. Previously, she made an appearance for the promotion of the Beats Studio Buds. Beats has consistently teamed up with musicians, artists, and athletes to launch limited edition products, and earlier this March, they released a special edition of headphones in collaboration with New York designer Sandy Liang.
