Thom Browne Bose headphones recast Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra Headphones as a wearable fashion piece, swapping plastics and metal for gray cashmere and a suite of Thom Browne signature details, the companies said.

The most visible change is gray cashmere. Thom Browne wrapped the adjustable headband and removable ear pads in the same soft gray fabric used for the brand’s tailored suits, which reduces the metallic and plastic look that usually marks high end audio gear. The result makes the headphones read more like glasses, shoes, or a watch, and less like a purely electronic device.

Where the Thom Browne touch really shows up is in the small tailoring cues. The outer ear cups gain the brand’s signature four parallel stripes. The top of the headband features a red, white and blue grosgrain loop. Even the included zip case is trimmed in cashmere and decorated with those stripes.

The design hides a small surprise. A tricolor stripe in red, white and blue lines the inside of each ear cup so it is visible only when the headphones are taken off and laid around the neck. That approach mimics traditional tailoring, where an understated exterior gives way to a detailed interior lining.
Thom Browne Bose headphones do not change the audio engineering. Bose retained the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones second generation platform features, including adjustable active noise cancellation, CustomTune, Bose Immersive Audio, a Cinema Mode, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB C connectivity, the company said.

Bose lists battery life up to 30 hours on a single charge, and about 23 hours when using Immersive Audio. Those figures match the standard QuietComfort Ultra Headphones second generation specifications, confirming that the collaboration focuses on appearance and materials rather than changes to the sound system.
Thom Browne Bose headphones carry a premium price. The standard QuietComfort Ultra Headphones second generation have a U S price of $449, while the Thom Browne edition is priced at about $950, the companies said. The added cost pays for cashmere coverings, the special zipped case, and the full complement of Thom Browne design touches rather than extra audio hardware.
For buyers who treat accessories as part of their outfit, Thom Browne narrowed the gap between tailoring and tech. The collaboration reframes a high end noise cancelling headset as a piece of clothing that can be coordinated with suits, wool coats or knitwear.
Availability and ordering details appeared in the companies’ joint announcement; interested customers should consult Thom Browne and Bose for regional launch dates and authorized retailers.
