Hermès 2025 Home Collection Debuts at Milan Design Week

Hermès made a grand debut at Milan Design Week, officially unveiling its 2025 home collection. The brand returned to the iconic La Pelota venue, where Home Creative Directors Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry joined forces to craft a surreal design showcase.

Unlike the previous focus on traditional Heritage aesthetics, this collection takes vibrant colors as its central theme, drawing inspiration from the early modernist movement to deliver a stunning visual experience. Within the exhibition space, suspended niches are seamlessly integrated into an all-white setting, showcasing a diverse range of products, including furniture, soft furnishings, and tableware.

A soft halo of colors casts an air of mystique over objects like drinking glasses, blankets, and tables, where art effortlessly merges with design. The translucent side table, designed by Tomás Alonso, takes on jewel tones in a nod to Piet Mondrian's color block paintings, striking a balance between minimalism and layered aesthetics. Meanwhile, Amer Musa’s cashmere blanket weaves together multicolored grids and bold polka dots, evoking the abstract art of the 20th century paired with the iconic Bauhaus style. Other items, such as vases and baskets, continue the geometric theme while cleverly incorporating Hermès’ signature leather craftsmanship—a seamless blend of the brand's heritage and innovative design. And standing out, a 33-piece Hermès porcelain set features repetitive geometric patterns that pay homage to the refined elegance of the Art Deco era.

Looking back at last year, Hermès showcased a completely different exhibition style, highlighting the textures of natural materials like bricks, stone, and wood against dim lighting. In 2024, as the Maison Home Collection celebrates its 10th anniversary under the leadership of Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry, the exhibition embraces a futuristic environmental design. This approach not only continues the legacy of the past but also ventures into a bold exploration of the future.

The Hermès 2025 Home Collection will be showcased at La Pelota until April 13, 2025. This unmissable collision of design and art is not to be missed.
