Tech giant Meta has once again teamed up with Xbox to officially launch the limited edition Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition—a mixed reality headset that has been upgraded from last year's model. This collaboration between the two major brands is designed specifically to deliver a seamless virtual gaming experience for players.
This limited edition set includes a specially customized Meta Quest 3S, featuring a design that employs the familiar color schemes of Xbox's Carbon Black and Velocity Green, complemented by matching Touch Plus controllers and an Elite Strap headband. To add to the excitement, players will find an Xbox controller included, which is pre-paired with the headset device, allowing users to dive right into the action straight out of the box. This controller also showcases a brand new limited edition color scheme, perfectly compatible with multiple gaming platforms including Xbox Series X, Series S, as well as Mac and PC.
Looking back, this isn't the first collaboration between Meta and Xbox. Several years ago, Xbox developed a dedicated application for Quest, allowing players to stream a vast library of games on a 26-foot virtual screen through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) using their headsets. To ensure players can dive right into the gaming experience, the official package also includes a three-month Game Pass Ultimate membership, further advancing Microsoft's Play Anywhere strategy.
