Future of Fast and Furious series Vin Diesel reveals plans for fast X part 2 premiere in 2027

The future development of the Fast and Furious series has always intrigued fans, and its star and producer Vin Diesel recently weighed in on this during the FuelFest event in Los Angeles.

Vin Diesel shared that Universal Pictures has reached out to him, hoping that Fast X: Part 2 can successfully premiere in April 2027. To make this plan a reality, Vin Diesel has outlined three key conditions: returning the filming location to its roots in Los Angeles, recreating Street Racing Culture, and wishing for Dominic Toretto to reunite with Brian O’Conner once again.

As we all know, Paul Walker, who portrayed Brian O’Conner, tragically passed away in a car accident in 2013. With that in mind, aside from utilizing old footage and special effects, Vin Diesel might also plan to invite his brother Cody Walker for a cameo, adding emotional depth to the series.
