Asian designers exhibition returns for its ninth edition during Clockenflap, presenting 10 designers and new styling illustrations from Dec. 5 to Dec. 7 on the Central waterfront in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Design Centre said.
The show, titled “The Fashion Compass,” combines fashion, music, art, and personal expression to highlight each designer’s signature work. Visitors to the Asian designers exhibition will see runway pieces and studio favorites reinterpreted as on-site fashion illustrations.
The exhibition commissioned local stylist Chloe Mak @chloemakcm to create festival-inspired looks that remix each designer’s garments. Fashion illustrator Jenny Chui @jenny_theprofile then translated those looks into a series of new illustrations for the show.
Ten designers were announced in advance. They are listed below with their Instagram handles and credited names as provided by the organizer:

The exhibition is presented by the Hong Kong Design Centre, under the broader Fashion Asia Hong Kong program. The Asian designers exhibition is one element of a multi-part agenda that also includes a one-day industry forum.
On Dec. 5, the Fashion Future Forum will be held at the Rosewood Hong Kong, where more than 20 industry guests will discuss the forces shaping fashion’s next phase, the Hong Kong Design Centre said. Attendance at the Asian designers exhibition and the forum will give industry professionals and the public access to conversations about sustainability, creative collaboration, and market trends.
Clockenflap runs Dec. 5 to Dec. 7 on the Central waterfront, and the Hong Kong Design Centre said the fashion presentation will operate during festival hours. The organization described the show as a way to put regional designers in front of an international audience drawn to the festival.
For schedules, ticketing, and practical details, the Hong Kong Design Centre recommended checking the Fashion Asia Hong Kong page on its website and the Clockenflap official schedule. The center said it hopes the Asian designers exhibition will broaden exposure for the participating designers.
