This series embodies the Japanese philosophy of on-ko-chi-shin (learning from the past), featuring bamboo—a material with a century-long history—as its core element. It blends traditional craftsmanship to transform ordinary natural materials into understated yet exquisite accessories, infusing everyday life with an elegant and subtle charm.
The standout feature of this series lies in the cleverly combined heat-treated bamboo handle and supple leather. The leather passes through the bottom of the bamboo handle, allowing the bag's opening to naturally close under its own weight, balancing aesthetics with intuitive functionality. Inside, it’s lined with soft cowhide, seamlessly integrating a design commonly found in fabric bags, which means minimal maintenance is required to instantly enjoy a comfortable feel. Furthermore, the inverted brass rivet design not only prevents snagging but also adds a subtle depth of shadow to the minimalist style.
The bag is made from natural textured canvas, ensuring it maintains its upright shape even when loaded with items. The diagonal reinforcement webbing extends from both sides to the bottom, providing solid support for the contents inside. Additionally, a central compartment features a slanted pocket to prevent items from stacking on top of one another, making it easier and more convenient to access your belongings.
This collection features the Vertical Tote Bag, Tote Bag, and 2WAY Shoulder Bag, available in two main colors: black and sand.
