New York's renowned boutique Colbo has announced a collaboration with the classic footwear brand Sperry, reinterpreting its iconic Authentic Original boat shoes.
This collaborative footwear made its debut recently at Paris Fashion Week, showcasing a unique deconstructed design that reinterprets this classic piece. The shoe features exquisite vintage-inspired treatments and pre-washed leather, giving it a naturally retro texture. Drawing inspiration from Sperry's archival leather sole designs from the '70s and '80s, it adds a touch of historical charm to the footwear. Additionally, the heel's push-down design offers versatile styling options, making everyday looks more dynamic.
The Colbo x Sperry collaboration boat shoes sold out rapidly during their initial release on the Colbo official website. The brand's site is currently offering a limited selection of sizes for pre-order, expected to start shipping soon.
At the same time, Sperry's official announcement hints at the upcoming launch of this shoe model, starting at a price of $225. According to the official press release from both parties, a second collaborative project is already in the works and is expected to drop in the autumn, so stay tuned for further updates.
