Chloé Mediterranean Essences this week expands the Atelier des Fleurs perfume collection with four new fragrances inspired by founder Gaby Aghion's Mediterranean roots, the brand said in a statement.
Chloé Mediterranean Essences introduces four new scents
Chloé Mediterranean Essences aims to translate the region's plants and coastal light into a perfume series, the company said, drawing on landscapes from southern France to Mediterranean islands.
The new line is part of Chloé's Atelier des Fleurs program and comprises four bottles that each highlight a different botanical profile, the brand said. Chloé Mediterranean Essences names the range and frames the launch as an exploration of place and memory.
Notes and perfumers
Perfumers Quentin Bisch and Ane Ayo contributed to the series, according to Chloé. Quentin Bisch created two compositions, while Ane Ayo composed one of the central scents, the label said in a press release.
Chloé said the collection honors Gaby Aghion, the fashion house's founder, and her ties to the Mediterranean basin. The brand described the range as an olfactory portrait of sunlit coastlines and local flora.
Sable Lavande and Vert Soleil
Sable Lavande, created by Quentin Bisch, shifts away from standard floral templates to foreground lavender with warm, sandy facets. The formula uses Ambrofix and fig accords to build a layered, textured drydown that the brand said evokes sunwarmed shorelines.
Vert Soleil, also by Bisch, centers on resinous frankincense and cistus labdanum paired with green citrus, the company said, producing a bright but soft citrus resin impression that aims to read as both fresh and tender.
Plage du Figuier and Sous les Pins
Ane Ayo's Plage du Figuier takes its inspiration from La Matière and Saint-Tropez (a resort town on the French Riviera), Chloé said, placing fig at the heart of the scent and blending it with classic orange blossom to deliver a full, sweet profile.
Sous les Pins, crafted with contemporary extraction techniques, seeks to recreate the relaxing aroma of pine trees and crushed needles beneathfoot on the island of Porquerolles, the brand said. The perfume is presented as a study in sunlit resin and green needle notes.
Chloé did not disclose U.S. pricing or distribution dates in its announcement. The brand said more details on availability and bottle sizes will be released through Chloé's official channels.
