TAG Heuer is set to unveil two major highlight collections at the 2025 Geneva Watch Fair. First up, the brand will showcase the groundbreaking TH-Carbonspring escapement, stepping boldly into a new era of mechanical watch performance. Following this, the Carrera Astronomer collection will merge cosmic inspiration with precision science, redefining the moon phase function.

TH-Carbonspring Series: Comprehensive Technological Upgrade, Limited Edition Sports Watches Debut
Developed by the TAG Heuer LAB team over nearly a decade, the TH-Carbonspring technology completely revolutionizes the traditional concept of the balance spring. Crafted from carbon fiber, it boasts three core advantages: resistance to magnetic interference, shock resistance, and ultra-low inertia. The carbon fiber balance spring effectively withstands everyday electronic magnetic fields, and remains stable even amidst sudden vibrations like closing doors or clapping hands. This innovation showcases an unprecedented level of reliability for everyday wear.

The brand launches two limited edition sport watches, each limited to just 50 pieces, that are the first to feature this groundbreaking core technology. The TAG Heuer Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring boasts a striking black and gold aesthetic, complemented by a black forged carbon case and detailing. It’s equipped with the proprietary TH20-60 flyback chronograph movement, which is certified by the observatory and offers an impressive 80-hour power reserve. Featuring a black rubber strap and a carbon dial, its racing DNA is undeniable. The suggested retail price is HKD 141,800.

Another model, the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport TH-Carbonspring, combines a tourbillon mechanism with chronograph functionality and is powered by the in-house TH20-61 movement, offering a remarkable 65 hours of power reserve. It features intricate black forged carbon details and a lightweight structure, achieving excellence in both performance and design. This model is also limited to just 50 pieces worldwide, with a retail price of HKD 333,700.

Both new watches feature a unique spiral-patterned dial that resonates with the design concept of the balance wheel, and they come in exclusive custom boxes that fully embody the brand spirit of Designed to Win.
Carrera Astronomer Series: Three new moon phase creations that sync with the lunar cycle, bringing the universe to your wrist.
TAG Heuer’s latest innovation spotlights the all-new Carrera Astronomer collection, building on the brand’s legacy of sending the first watch into space back in 1962, taking its vision from the racetrack to the cosmic realm. This series is equipped with the cutting-edge Calibre 7 movement, boasting a 50-hour power reserve and showcasing the moon phase in a more intuitive way: featuring a seven-stage moon phase disc at the 6 o’clock position that rotates in sync with the actual moon phase at 1 AM daily, clearly indicating the current lunar cycle with dual arrow markers.

The debut of the series features three uniquely designed styles. The basic stainless steel model showcases a silver sunburst matte dial paired with a classic rice grain bracelet, exuding a steady and elegant charm. It comes equipped with a complete luminous display and intricate markings, balancing both aesthetics and functionality, with a reference price of HKD 37,950.

The second version is a limited edition of 500 pieces featuring a turquoise color accent. It includes a luminous coating on the dial, hands, and moon phase display, showcasing a futuristic vibe. Paired with a gray leather strap, it strikes a soft yet distinctive tone, with a design language that aligns closely with modern aesthetics. The reference price is HKD 36,300.

The third variant, featuring a two-tone design, seamlessly blends stainless steel with 18K rose gold. Both the hands and hour markers, along with the moon phase details, have undergone meticulous metal finishing, giving the overall piece a warm and elegant vibe. Limited to just 500 units, it comes with a dual-metal bracelet and a laser-engraved case back, priced at HKD 57,550.

All three models maintain a 39mm case, outfitted with Super-LumiNova luminescent coating, double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and a case back engraved with space observatory and a victory laurel relief. The overall design embodies a theme of cosmic observation, showcasing a flawless fusion of visual aesthetics and intricate functionality.
The Carrera Astronomer is not just an extension of design and functionality; it’s a profound tribute to time, astronomy, and the spirit of human exploration. It breathes new life into the traditional moon phase feature, positioning TAG Heuer once again at the forefront of mechanical watch evolution.
