Arnold & Son watches unveiled two new stone dial limited editions that use natural gemstones as their visual center, the HM Pietersite and the Ultrathin Tourbillon Onyx, the brand said.

The brand said it kept output deliberately small to focus design intent, releasing only two new models this year. Both pieces center their aesthetics on natural stone, using the stones grain and sheen to create contrasting visual depth and texture.
Arnold & Son watches: two stone dial models
The HM Pietersite places emphasis on its dial. Pietersite displays a mix of blue, gold, and red veins that create a sense of movement across the same surface, evoking natural landscapes, Arnold & Son said.
Each HM Pietersite dial is cut from a single piece of the natural stone, so no two dials are the same. That makes every watch visually unique, the company said.
HM Pietersite specifications
The HM Pietersite measures 39.55 mm in diameter and 7.82 mm thick, proportions that the brand described as slender and light. The measurements convert to about 1.56 inches across and 0.31 inches thick.
The watch houses the A&S1001 manual winding movement, built with an ultrathin architecture and tuned to provide about 90 hours of power reserve, Arnold & Son said. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters, or roughly 98 feet.
The HM Pietersite will be offered in two cases; an 18K 5N red gold version and a stainless steel version, with production limited to 8 pieces in red gold and 18 pieces in steel, the brand confirmed.
The second model, the Ultrathin Tourbillon Onyx, takes a quieter route. Its dial is made from banded onyx and finished with a matte satin surface that softens reflections and deepens the perceived layers of black.

Ultrathin Tourbillon Onyx design and movement
The Onyx places an open flying tourbillon at the six o clock position, with an exposed structure that highlights mechanical detail. The tourbillon carriage uses the brands signature anchor shaped counterweight, and its tip doubles as the seconds reference as it completes one rotation per minute.
The model runs on the A&S8300 manual winding movement, a notably thin caliber with a thickness of 2.97 mm, about 0.12 inches. After adjustment, the movement offers around 100 hours of power reserve, and the case is rated to 30 meters water resistance, or roughly 98 feet.
The Ultrathin Tourbillon Onyx will be available in 18K 5N red gold and 950 platinum, each limited to 8 pieces, Arnold & Son said. The brand framed the two releases as a focused presentation, using limited production to emphasize materiality and finishing.
Arnold & Son supplied the specifications and quantities to the press for this release. For collectors the watches offer both unique stone dials and extended power reserves that prioritize thinness and mechanical clarity.
