KAWS has teamed up with AllRightsReserved to launch an exclusive new series of vinyl figurines, inspired by the beloved characters from Sesame Street. This collaboration follows their initial partnership in 2018 and further expands the artist's iconic visual universe.
This collection brings together five beloved characters: Elmo, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, and Oscar the Grouch. Each figure is intricately designed in KAWS's unique X Eye style, taking inspiration from previous KAWS figures. Made from high-quality vinyl, consumers can choose to purchase individual pieces or opt for the complete set of five.
Global pre-orders will open soon for a specific period exclusively on the DDT Store online platform. The entire set of figurines is priced at HK$10,190 (approximately US$1,300), while the trio of Bert, Ernie, and Oscar is available for HK$5,335 (around US$685). The duo set of Elmo and Big Bird is set at HK$4,855 (about US$620), whereas the Bert and Ernie duo is priced at HK$2,980 (around US$380), and the individual figures of Elmo and Oscar are each priced at HK$2,355 (approximately US$300).
Please note that the quantity of products is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with shipping expected to start later this quarter. This launch coincides with the Water Parade event in Hong Kong, where the Big Bird figurine and its related merchandise will be exclusively released for the occasion.
