The Racing Bulls F1 team is set to unveil a unique turtle livery at this weekend’s United States Grand Prix.
The drivers of this British-Italian racing team, Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson, will be behind the wheel of a VCARB 02 race car. The car features a striking design in pearl black adorned with a tortoiseshell pattern in brown, complemented by golden details, creating a bold contrast with its usual white body.
This special coating draws its inspiration from the sponsor Cash App and the prepaid Visa debit card featuring a turtle that was launched earlier this year, created in collaboration with renowned American artist Shaboozey.
The eye-catching turtle pattern will also appear on the racing suits, team gear, and garage decorations of Hadjar and Lawson.
Shaboozey stated, “I’m thrilled to have launched this card earlier this year, and now seeing it showcased at F1 racing is absolutely exhilarating.” He also took part in a promotional collaboration short film.
Peter Bayer, the CEO of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, said: “Once again, we connect with culture in a unique VCARB way. These special paint designs have become our identity; they represent the moments where motorsport meets music, fashion, and creativity. The designs we bring to the racetrack this weekend are another bold expression of this spirit, and Austin is the perfect place to showcase it.”
Racing Bulls previously launched a limited-edition vibrant pink paint job at the Miami Grand Prix in May to promote the release of the new Red Bull flavor. Last year, they collaborated with Warner Bros. to release the blockbuster Twister, aiming to connect with the young and diverse fan base of F1 through popular culture.
