Nike First Sight Shadow arrives as a new all black women's lifestyle sneaker, with a suggested retail price of $145 and an expected release in the second half of 2026.
The First Sight Shadow SP in Black draws on Nike heritage while pointing to a futuristic silhouette. Nike frames the shoe as an evolution of earlier Alpha Project experimentation, with a sculptural, one piece upper and sharp, memorable lines that recall the brand's experimental design work from the 1990s.
Nike First Sight Shadow design details
The shoe's construction centers on a molded, one piece upper treated with textured embossing to create a streamlined aesthetic. The irregular three dimensional embossing on the upper adds visible layering, and the all black colorway keeps the look restrained and versatile for both streetwear and casual outfits.
Leaked images circulating online show an outsole divided into four forefoot zones, each inset with small anti slip studs to improve traction. The Swoosh at the heel appears to extend into the heel counter, creating a sense of motion, while wave like tread on the sole gives the shoe an identifiable profile.
Release timing, price and who should watch
Sneaker fans drawn to Y2K era Nike designs or to forward looking silhouettes should watch the First Sight Shadow, which the brand is positioning as a women's exclusive. Nike has not announced a formal launch date, but the model is expected to roll out in the second half of 2026.
Price is set at $145 USD, a figure appearing in early retailer listings and preview images. Nike has not published a full press release on global availability, and the company did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
