The Saucony x Estudio Niksen Trainer 80 lands as a minimalist, workwear-inspired take on the brand’s retro running silhouette, blending ripstop mesh and suede in deep, earthy tones.

The collaboration pairs Saucony with Canadian workwear-inspired label Estudio Niksen, and the partnership is reflected throughout the Trainer 80’s design, materials, and finishing details, Saucony said in a news release.

The upper mixes workwear ripstop mesh and suede panels to create layered textures that evoke outdoor terrain, while a muted palette of soil and clay tones keeps the look understated.

The Saucony Originals river logo on the lateral side is reworked as a bold, white herringbone embroidery, replacing the usual smooth overlay and adding a handcrafted feel, the companies said.
Construction, price, and launch
Stitching details and exposed seam work further emphasize the trainer’s utilitarian inspiration, and the midsole retains the model’s classic running proportions for everyday wearability.
The Saucony x Estudio Niksen Trainer 80 carries a suggested retail price of approximately $109.61 (originally HK$859), Saucony said. The pair will be sold exclusively at Saucony’s Hong Kong flagship store beginning June 12.
The release is positioned as a limited collaboration between Saucony and Estudio Niksen, aimed at shoppers who favor subtle, durable design over loud branding. Saucony encouraged interested buyers to check the brand’s Hong Kong store for availability and sizing details.
Collectors and fans of the Trainer 80 line should expect the Saucony x Estudio Niksen Trainer 80 to appear in a small initial run, with potential wider distribution to follow depending on demand, the statement said.
