Audemars Piguet new watches debut five models, including three Supersonnerie minute repeaters and two 38 mm Code 11.59 automatic models with natural gem dials, the company said.
Audemars Piguet new watches, and the Supersonnerie advantage
The three Supersonnerie models showcase the brand’s acoustic research, a project developed over eight years with musicians and engineers at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, the company said.
The three hand wound Calibre 2953 movements, used in the minute repeater models, consist of 362 parts, use 32 jewels, run at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and provide at least 72 hours of power reserve, Audemars Piguet said.
What Supersonnerie means in a wristwatch
Traditional minute repeaters chime hours, quarter hours, and remaining minutes so wearers can hear the time without looking at the dial. The challenge in wristwatches is making those chimes clear and audible inside a small case.
Supersonnerie improves sound transmission by fixing the gongs to a specially designed resonance plate, instead of the conventional mounting, and by refining the striking mechanism so tones are clearer and transmit better through the case.
Royal Oak Supersonnerie: titanium and rose gold versions
The first Royal Oak Supersonnerie is a 42 mm titanium model, with a case thickness of 14 mm and a matching integrated titanium bracelet. The dial is a smoked green gradient with a satin sunburst finish and a green small seconds subdial.
The titanium Royal Oak Supersonnerie, with its lighter metal case, offers the Royal Oak profile in an alternative to precious metal, while preserving the series’ signature octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet, the brand said.
The second Royal Oak Supersonnerie uses an 18K rose gold case and integrated bracelet, also 42 mm across and 14 mm thick. It is the first Royal Oak Supersonnerie offered in rose gold, the company said.
This rose gold model carries a brown Grande Tapisserie pattern dial and a matching small seconds subdial, the three dimensional texture producing varied light and shadow across the face. Both Royal Oak Supersonnerie models are rated to 20 meters of water resistance.
Code 11.59 Supersonnerie, and a semi transparent sapphire dial
The third minute repeater is from the Code 11.59 collection, in 41 mm 18K white gold, with a case thickness of 13.6 mm and a smoked translucent blue sapphire dial that reveals part of the movement beneath.
The Code 11.59 Supersonnerie shows the movement details through the dial while retaining minute markers, a small seconds subdial, white gold hour markers, and white gold hands, paired with a gray alligator strap. It shares the Calibre 2953 minute repeater movement and also carries a 20 meter water resistance rating.
Code 11.59 gem-dial models: 38 millimeter automatic pairs
Turning to the two 38 mm Code 11.59 offerings, both use the automatic Calibre 5909 movement. Calibre 5909 is 26.2 mm in diameter, 3.9 mm thick, built from 174 parts with 29 jewels, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers at least 60 hours of power reserve.
Both Code 11.59 gem-dial watches have a case thickness of 9.6 mm and are water resistant to 30 meters, the company said. They emphasize natural stone dials and pared back three hand displays rather than complicated functions.
18K yellow gold with golden sheen stone
One 38 mm model uses an 18K yellow gold case and a natural gold sheen stone dial, often called gold sheen obsidian. The dark stone shows golden reflections that shift with light and viewing angle, set against yellow gold luminous hands and a glossy black alligator strap.
The design relies on the stone’s inherent color and luster to add depth to a simple three hand layout, the brand said.
18K rose gold with black onyx and diamonds
The other 38 mm Code 11.59 pairs an 18K rose gold case with a mirror polished black onyx dial. The dial is simple and deep black after high polish, and features 13 rectangular cut diamond hour markers totaling about 0.37 carat.
The diamonds provide contrast against the black stone, while rose gold hands and a high gloss black alligator strap complete the look.
Design continuity and model comparisons
Although the two 38 mm Code 11.59 watches share movement and case dimensions, they deliver very different visual effects: the yellow gold model emphasizes the stone’s gold reflections, while the rose gold onyx version plays material contrast and diamond geometry against a dark dial.
Across the five releases, Audemars Piguet new watches balance acoustic engineering and natural materials: the Supersonnerie pieces focus on sound performance and complex mechanics, while the 38 mm Code 11.59 models highlight dial material, finish, and detail.

Prices and regional availability were not provided in the initial announcement; Audemars Piguet said more details will be released by market and retailer in the coming weeks.
