LG said the W6 is designed to sit almost flat against a wall, with a 9.9 mm thin, panel-only profile, mounted on the wall like wallpaper. The company emphasized the goal of replacing tangled cabling with a cleaner, minimalist installation.
Central to that plan is the Zero Connect Box, an external hub that LG said can connect game consoles, sound systems, and streaming players without running cables to the screen. LG said the Zero Connect Box will operate at distances of up to 30 feet from the display, allowing flexible furniture placement.
Performance, processor, and gaming
LG said the OLED evo W6 is powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, and it supports a variable refresh rate up to 165 Hz with a quoted response time of 0.1 millisecond, specifications aimed at competitive gamers and high frame rate content.
The company also highlighted proprietary image technologies including Hyper Radiant Color and Brightness Booster Ultra, which LG said delivers roughly 3.9 times the peak brightness of traditional OLED panels, improving highlights and HDR performance.
Eye comfort, pricing, and recognition
To reduce distracting reflections, LG said the W6 includes Reflection Free Premium treatment and carries a low blue light certification for more comfortable long viewing sessions. LG described these as part of an overall push for a premium, living room friendly display.
LG lists the W6 in two sizes, with the 77 inch model priced at $5,499.99 and the 83 inch model at $7,499.99. The company said the W6 received a Best of CES 2026 award at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
